Hi there, I am Hector, and this is my first attempt at writing an ‘About me and my Blog’ page, so let’s get started…

What I do:Some of the roles I have in my life are lover, lover, lover! Jajaja, I wish! Seriously though, I am an entrepreneur, I like to get things started, projects and companies, that sort of thing. I am an inventor and presently live from many software/hardware related “things” that make us money at our company. I am the leader of a multinational company dedicated to technological innovation in the areas of new media marketing, interactivity and mobile! Wuhuuuu!!! That did sound cool! A musician of sorts, shameless self promoter, geek, poet, unpublished writer and author, graphics designer, once TV producer, programmer, technology enthusiast, Super Hero, self improvement junkie, visionary, Thicker Quicker Picker Upper, once Jesus-Saved-Me preacher and evangelist, Gracie Jiu Jitsu student, parachuting newbie, gun owner and concealed carrier, fitness fanatic, roboticist, electronics genius, just plain genius, hopeless romantic, and, coming to you October 2007, a Graduated Fireman from my local fireman department! There, that came out nice!Some quick facts:Real Name: Hector Vladimir Polo Galvan: Etimology, here.DOB: March 28, 1972. Although I would like to think I am reborn every once in a while, when a new epiphany hits me!Height: 5′10″ (or 1,730,000,000 nanometers) Altough I must seem taller to my only real enemies: Mosquitoes in the bedroom at night that do not let me sleep!Place of Birth: Guatemala city, Guatemala. Map, here.Occupation: I am not even going to try answer that. Ok, let’s try, how about: “Patojo Chispudo Trilingue” WHAT? Sorry, the joke doesn’t “take” in English. Just laugh, believe me, it is funny!Other stuff: I am part of the ‘ALM’ league: Athletic Latin Male. Not presently married, but have been. Brown lookers, dark hair. A little biographical note:Super Hector was born on “Hospital Roosevelt” in Guatemala City, Guatemala, son of Hector Polo Esquivel and Anabella Galvan Tabora (super Mom and super Dad) that never got married! Mom was only 17 when she had little Super Hector born. He went to school, grew up, got married, got divorced, became Super Hector. Realized he had some genius, started a bunch of companies, failed. Started another one, is becoming quite the success, created his blog, and thus this note.Some words that have been used to describe me are:Entrepreneur, romantic, dreamer, enthusiastic, leader, and then some words that I cannot repeat here, or else my mom would not like it. It is a borrowed list from my fellow ADHDers!The people and characters I admire the most are:Jesus Christ, The Brain, Wile E Coyote, Bugs Bunny, Pastor Harold Caballeros, Ing. Alejandro Botran and his cool son Rodrigo Botran, Bobi Fleischmann and Grand Master Helio Gracie.My friends:My pals come form many of my areas of interest, most are entrepreneurs, musicians or have some geniality in one area or another. Some are the greatest martial artist you can ever find, some are very eccentric, others are totally concentric! But they all have a light to share and i am so proud to have them!My job:On my day to day job, my job description is quite simple: “Try to take over the world with limited resources and limited personnel” Quite the task if you ask me. Hey, Jesus did it!!! My favorite quote, recently has been this:

Guess I’ll have to “talk” English here in order for me not to spoil your English-based whacky-website. In case you don’t remember me just by reading my name download your memories from MemoryLane.com/1996/Internet Studio (it’s in your head, don’t dare trying to log in into the web) and think about the guy who once you give him his big break as a graphic designer.
I tried several times to find you but it’s until now that you’ve finally got “exposed” in the web. WOW! you’re still a guy not easy to keep up with. And I can’t help it getting concerned that in a corner of your brain you have a knack for guns (well, who wouln’t these days in Guatemala).
Anyways, really nice to see you’re still alive. Keep it that way. And if this thing works fine you should have my email by now.
Two last things: first - it’s funny to me the fact that you rather create a whole website about yourself that using myspace.com which at the same time makes sense to me being you the creator of Guatenet.com, remember? second - you have an Imac! Hahaha!
